New & Under-The-Radar Healthy Snacks

Apr 1 2026
Tired of the same old snacks? We recently visited the 2026 Natural Products Expo West, a massive yearly convention featuring tons of healthy food products. It’s always fun to scope out delicious finds that are either brand new or a little under-the-radar… Here are some absolute standouts!

Garrett Popcorn Shops Chicago Pizza Popcorn

2 cups: 130 calories, 6g total fat (5g sat. fat), 390mg sodium, 16g carbs, 3g fiber, 2g total sugars (1g added sugars), 2g protein
WW Points® value 5*
Fun fact: This popcorn flavor used to be exclusively available at Wrigley Field for Chicago Cubs games! Luckily, Garrett has rolled it on out to stores so the rest of us can enjoy pizza popcorn too. Co-branded with Chicago’s Home Run Inn Pizza, the flavor is inspired by classic tavern-style pie. (It’s not all deep dish in Chi-town!) Order on Amazon, and find it at World Market and supermarkets nationwide. Each cup has just 65 calories! (The mini bags we got at Expo don’t appear to be for sale yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.)

Rip Van Nutty Crunch and Rip Van Crispy Choco

One 0.81-oz. wafer/bar: 110–120 calories, 7–g total fat (2.5–4.5g sat. fat), 25–60mg sodium, 11–12g carbs, 2–5g fiber, 4g total sugars (2–3g added sugars), 2–3g protein
WW Points® value 4–5*
Check out these super-new treats from the low-sugar geniuses at Rip Van! The Nutty Crunch—a.k.a. Fudge Enrobed Wafer Snack—comes in both creamy Milk Choco Peanut and vegan Dark Choco Peanut. The Crispy Choco—a.k.a. Fudge Coated and Creme Filled Wafer Snack—comes in three varieties. The highlight? Dubai Choco, filled with pistachio creme with kunafa! Made with real sugar + a little stevia or monk fruit extract, you get amazing flavor with less sugar overall. Bonus: They also have prebiotic fiber from chicory root! Get yours online from Amazon or the brand’s website.

Freestyle Snacks Pickles

1 package: 10 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat. fat), 580mg sodium, 3g carbs, 0g fiber, 0–1g total sugars (0g added sugars), 0g protein
WW Points® value 0*
We’ve shouted out Freestyle Snacks’ perfect pouches of olives before, so we flipped when we saw that they now have pouches of deli-style pickles too! (You know us—we’re pickle people.) And even though they’re single-serving pouches, they’re resealable, so you can eat a few now and save the rest for later. Choose from crinkle-cut Pickle Chips—in Classic Dill and spicy Kickin’ Picks—and Garlic Dill Mini Pickles. Crunchy, clean, and ready to go. Find them at Whole Foods, or order online from Amazon or the Freestyle site.
