Tempting fall menu items are everywhere, but the calorie counts for some of 'em are frightening! Read up, and take notes...



Corner Bakery Cafe DO: Butternut Squash & Kale Salad

So much yum, and the Cafe size has just 270 calories and 9g fat (PointsPlus® value 8*). Add chicken for just 110 calories... 



Corner Bakery Cafe DON'T: The Gobbler Sandwich

770 calories and 33g fat? Lame! Ditching the cranberry mayo and stuffing brings it down to 460 calories and 13g fat... but then it's basically just a turkey sandwich.



Panera Bread DO: Ancient Grain, Arugula & Chicken Salad

Red grapes, apple cabbage slaw, citrus chicken... This salad has Hungry Girl written all over it! With the dressing, a full-sized salad clocks in at 420 calories and 14g fat (PointsPlus® value 10*). Another great option? The Roasted Turkey Cranberry Flatbread, with 300 calories and 12g fat (PointsPlus® value 8*). Yum.



Panera Bread DON'T: Butternut Squash Ravioli

Cranberries, grapes, apples, walnuts, goat cheese... Ahhh! Before dressing, this salad has 440 calories and 16g fat (PointsPlus® value 11*). To slim down the stats, go for walnuts or cheese... not both. As for dressing, request the new Fat Free White Balsamic Vinaigrette: 60 calories for a big 2-oz. serving... much better than the 170-calorie Maple Walnut Vinaigrette that usually comes with this salad. Also noteworthy: the Harvest Pumpkin Soup, with 150 calories per cup (PointsPlus® value 4*).



Au Bon Pain DON’T: Roasted Vegetarian Harvest Hot Wrap

This newbie isn't on the official Fall Menu, but it does have a seasonally appropriate spin. More importantly, it's a total food faker! Eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, and spinach, all rolled up in a whole-wheat wrap -- sounds like a nutritional winner, right? WRONG! The innocent-sounding wrap packs 670 calories and 25g fat. Better bet: Make one of our delicious, low-cal wraps at home!
