Heading out for a night on the town? Don't get stuck sipping the same boring basic beverage. Here are 15 adults-only sippers with under 130 calories each...

The Classics

Red wine (about 125 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
Your average 5-oz. glass is an excellent option, especially since it's something you tend to sip slowly. We definitely prefer it to sugary sangria.

White wine (about 120 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
Again, a 5-oz. pour is a perfect pick. To make it go even further, order a spritzer — iced wine plus seltzer!

Champagne (about 100 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
Not only will you look super fancy, but a flute of Champagne is on the small side (usually around 4 oz.), so the calorie count is extra tiny.

Light Beer (about 100 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
A 12-oz. bottle or glass averages around 100 calories, but there are options out there as low as 55 calories! Those are ideal for fast drinkers, especially since they tend to have less alcohol.

Simple Combos

Mimosa (about 110 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
Champagne + orange juice = one super-yummy combo. Just beware of the bottomless option... It's easy to lose track of how many you've had. The stats here are for a 6-oz. drink.

Vodka & Club Soda (about 100 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
Warning: Unlike club soda, tonic is NOT calorie-free — it has nearly as many calories as regular soda!

Rum & Diet Coke (about 100 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
The calorie-slashed version of a tasty standard. HG tip: Add a squeeze of lemon or lime for extra flavor.

Time to Get Creative

Blueberry Vodka + Club Soda + Pineapple Chunks (about 115 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
This flavorful upgrade to the basic vodka soda will have everyone else at the bar asking what you ordered. Modify with whichever flavored vodkas and fruit garnishes your local bar has on hand.

Rum + Club Soda + Muddled Limes and Mint (about 100 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
Mojitos on the menu? Order one without sugar, and you've got this neat treat! If you like your drinks sweet, stir in a no-calorie sweetener. (We've been known to stash Truvia packets in our purses for just such an occasion.)

Tequila + Club Soda + Splash of Orange Juice + Maraschino Cherry (about 120 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
Think of this as a tequila sunrise spritzer — all the right flavors, but lightened up! FYI: Grenadine would add about 55 calories per tablespoon.

Gin + Club Soda + Splash of Grapefruit Juice (about 115 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
This one's a lighter twist on another classic cocktail, the Greyhound. If you're not into gin, try it with vodka or tequila. And if you find grapefruit juice too tart, add a little no-calorie sweetener.

Coconut Rum + Club Soda + Splash of Pineapple Juice + Orange Slice (about 115 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
Instead of simply gazing longingly at all those tropical drinks at the bar, have one HG style!  This combo can only be made better with a paper umbrella.

Vanilla Vodka + Diet Coke + Maraschino Cherry (about 110 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
If you want a sweet and low-calorie drink with the flavors of dessert, this drink's for you. It tastes like an ice cream float, complete with the cherry on top!

Vodka + Club Soda + Splash of Cranberry Juice + Lime Wedge (about 115 calories, SmartPoints® value of 4* on all plans)
We're gonna go ahead and call this a Cosmo Fizz. (Don't order it that way; the bartender will be confused.) Less juice means less sugar, and that club soda means a taller (and more refreshing) drink! Grab a straw...

Plan-Ahead Perfection

HG's On-the-Go Margarita (about 105 calories, SmartPoints® value of 3* on all plans)
This is THE best. Just order tequila and club soda with a lime wedge… then add your secret ingredient! Keep a packet or two of sugar-free lemonade mix in your purse — the kinds by Wyler’s Light and True Lemon are our go-to picks. Add the mix to your drink to taste, and sip away!
