9 Muffin-Pan Hacks, Snacks & More

Jun 28 2019
Muffin pans can do all sorts of useful things that have nothing to do with baking! Try our suggestions below… or mix 'n match your favorites to create your perfect personalized snack spread!

Snacks on Snacks on Snacks

Put together the perfect snack tray for a night in with friends or family. Choose your favorite healthy goodies, and divvy them up among the 12 cups of your muffin tin. We're thinking jerky, freeze-dried fruit, almonds, crispy bean snacks, mini rice cakes, sweet cereal, seaweed snacks, light popcorn… So many delicious options!

Cookout Condiment Spread

If you've got a bunch of toppings for burgers and hot dogs, don’t spread them out on the counter… Put ‘em in a muffin pan for easy access. Just don't forget spoons for the sauces! Your sandwich-making station will be streamlined, and you won't be stuck trying to figure out who walked off with the ketchup AGAIN. Our top picks: pickle chips, BBQ sauce, mustard, ketchup, relish, chopped onion, light mayo, and Slawsa!

DIY Crudités Platter

Who needs those silly plastic trays from the store with the tub of fatty ranch? Do it yourself, and do it right! Gather all your favorite veggies to load into the cups: baby carrots, jicama sticks, mini bell peppers, and more. Don’t forget the dips! Go for guacamole, salsa, hummus, and yogurt-based dressing.

Genius Drink Tray

Those little paper and plastic cups that are cookout staples? They aren't the most stable… Good luck distributing drinks without a spill! If you're playing hostess and making sure everyone has a beverage, this is a creative way to give the cups a bit more support and give you peace of mind. Great for at-home game days and movie nights too!

Elevate Your Fruit Plate

If ordinary fruit bores you, this might make it more appealing! Cut up your favorite fruit and gather those grapes 'n berries. Then pair them with a sweet dessert dip! We have some amazing recipes, and we love Boar's Head dessert hummus. You can even add some cheese cubes to the collection -- who doesn't love fruit 'n cheese? Make room in the fridge, and keep this on hand for better-for-you impulse snacking.

To the Salad Bar… and Beyond!

No matter what cuisine is on the menu, a muffin pan is the perfect way to organize toppings. Check out these ideas!
