Time for another food haul! We went shopping at Target and came back with so many delicious (and money-saving) finds. Here are a few of our favorites… Read up and eat up!
Good & Gather Date & Nut Bars in Cashew Butter Chocolate Chip and Apple Pie
1 bar: 180 - 190 calories, 8 - 10g total fat (0.5 - 2.5g sat. fat), 0 - 45mg sodium, 25 - 26g carbs, 2 - 4g fiber, 18 - 21g sugars, 3 - 4g protein -- SmartPoints
Target recently launched its Good & Gather line
, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and no artificial flavors or sweeteners. Well, we were completely blown away when we tried these vegan, gluten-free snack bars! Similar to Lärabars, the texture is slightly dense yet super moist. Both the Apple Pie
and Cashew Butter Chocolate Chip
are ridiculously delicious. There are other flavors too
, all with 6 ingredients or less. (Sounds familiar
!) Do yourself a favor, and pick up a box or two STAT.
SMASHMALLOW Dipped Snackable Marshmallows in Dark Chocolate Cold Brew
4 marshmallows: 120 calories, 2g total fat (1g sat. fat), 15mg sodium, 24g carbs, 0g fiber, 20g sugars, 1g protein -- SmartPoints
SMASHMALLOW products are sold at many retailers, but we found this new product
at Target… and boy, are we glad we did. These are perfectly flavored fluffy ‘mallows dipped in rich dark chocolate… Just 30 calories each! There’s also a Dark Chocolate Dipped Raspberry (currently only sold online) that rocked our faces off. Find the Cold Brew exclusively at Target, or buy either flavor online
Archer Farms Asparagus & Cheddar Stuffed Chicken Breast Cutlets
1 piece: 170 calories, 5g total fat (2.5g sat. fat), 320mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, <1g sugars, 29g protein -- SmartPoints
Here’s another yummy find
that’s sold exclusively at Target. The chicken cutlets come pre-seasoned and wrapped around cheese & fresh veggies, so all you have to do is pop ‘em in the oven! They’ve got just the right amount of cheddar -- gooey goodness without going overboard. There’s also a Spinach & Feta Cream Cheese variety
that we haven’t tried… Guess it’s time for another Target run!
Good & Gather Unsweetened Sparkling Water
12 fl. oz.: 0 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat. fat), 0mg sodium, 0g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, 0g protein -- SmartPoints
This mildly fruity fizzy water
is so refreshingly tasty! With no sugar or calories, it’s a great way to mix up your water intake. The flavor is slightly less intense than La Croix (although we like that too). We tried the Watermelon and Tropical Cherry -- both are great, but the Watermelon is our favorite. Check out all the flavors here
, and make room in your fridge… and your water bottle!
