I have a vegan in my life too: my niece, Lauren! And while I'm a total meat eater & dairy consumer, I love finding healthy alternatives. Here are some FAVORITES in the ingredient category… Perfect for recipes and impromptu meals!
Milk & CreamerUnsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze is a longtime favorite, but there are sooo many great non-dairy milks out there. The dairy-free creamers taste incredible too!
Cheese & ButterThere are so many options, whether you're putting together a vegan cheese board (Miyoko is on the case!) or topping off a meatless burger (you’ve gotta have slices).
EggsWhen cooking or baking, you can replace eggs with things like aquafaba (the liquid beans have been soaked in) and ground flaxseed mixed with water. But my go-to is JUST Egg Plant-Based Scramble. In addition to preparing it like eggs for breakfast, it works in most recipes as a 1:1 swap.
Meat, Poultry & SeafoodThe plant-based meat swaps just keep getting better and more plentiful! These are some personal favorites.
