Like many people these days, I want to make sure my pantry is stocked with healthy foods. Right now, it’s mostly rice and beans. Do you have any ideas for me?

I’m right there with you. I spent this weekend clearing out anything that had expired and making a list of things to order online and/or look for at stores. Here are several of my go-tos…
Meaty EatsNo protein in the fridge? From meal starters to mix-ins to on-the-go meat snacks, I've got you covered…
The Right Kind of CarbsA big tub of old-fashioned oats is a given, but I also enjoy protein-packed pancake mixes for a fast flapjack breakfast with a little something extra. Other staples: light English muffins, high-fiber wraps & flatbreads, and my new favorite rice find…
Canned (& Boxed) GoodsWhen it comes to basics, canned tomatoes, salsa, and canned beans are no-brainers. In addition to those, I'm all about pumpkin, a shelf-stable noodle swap, and, of course, low-calorie soup. (It's the heat 'n eat mini meal that always has your back!)
Crunchy SnacksWhat's in YOUR snack stash? I always have nuts on hand, plus crunchy bean snacks, freeze-dried fruit, and roasted seaweed packs!
Bunches of BarsEmergency food at its best! Cereal bars and protein bars are classic -- I stick with ones under 250 calories. For times when I just need a little something, mini bars save the day. And for a sweet-tooth fix, crispy marshmallow bars do the trick.
