Duncan Hines Perfect Size for 1 Decadent Vanilla Bean Cake and Decadent Chocolate Lover's Cake Mixes

1 pouch: 250 - 300 calories, 5 - 9g total fat (3 - 6g sat fat), 370 - 380mg sodium, 46 - 53g carbs, <1 - 2g fiber, 26 - 32g sugars, 3 - 4g protein -- SmartPoints® value 11 - 14*

Single-serve cake mixes? Genius! This lineup includes a whopping 18 varieties -- including muffin mixes and more -- but we're focusing on the classic vanilla and chocolate cake versions. (Many of the others are higher in calories and fat.) Just add to a mug with 3 tbsp. of water, and microwave up your individual treat in minutes. Sure, these aren't super low in calories (or SmartPoints® ), but they're great options if you need a quick portion-controlled dessert. Find them at retailers such as Publix, ShopRite, Meijer, and Walmart.

Snyder's of Hanover "Wholey Cheese!" Crispy Baked Crackers

Move over, Cheez-Its. There's a delicious new cheese cracker in town! These are so light that you can have a big serving without a big ol' calorie price tag. The crunchy snacks come in Mild Cheddar, Smoked Gouda (which we're kinda obsessed with), and Swiss & Black Pepper. You need these! Find them at Walmart, Sam's Club, Publix, and more.

This Week's 3 Things to Know

Let's hear it for early birds: Morning people make healthier food choices.

Getting an early start to your day could really set you up for success. Researchers studied data to determine whether a person's chronotype (a.k.a. biological clock rhythm) affects how and when they eat. Turns out, it does! Night owls typically eat less protein throughout the day, plus more sugar and fat in the evening. Three cheers for those early risers!

The 2017 "Dirty Dozen" list is here, and there's a new food to watch out for...

The Environmental Working Group has just released its annual list of the twelve types of produce most likely to contain pesticide residue. This year, spinach shot up to second place (right behind strawberries... boo!), while PEARS have vaulted up to sixth place after not even cracking the top 12 last year. To avoid the icky pesticides, you might want to consider going organic when buying these foods. Read up for the full list, plus the "Clean 15!"

Chew on this:

Today, March 13th, is National Coconut Torte Day. That's a little obscure. How about some Coconut-Crusted Chicken Nuggets instead?
