Things We Can't Live Without: Exercise Edition

Jun 21 2019
It's that time again. We've told you about the kitchen picks and beauty bits we can't live without -- now we're dishing on our favorite fitness finds! If you could use a few new tools to step up your workout game, we have suggestions…

HG Heads-Up: Our Amazon finds can sell out fast! So add ‘em to your cart ASAP…

Letsfit Resistance Loop Bands

Resistance bands are huge in the fitness community. Like the name implies, these looped bands provide resistance for your muscles, allowing you to burn calories and build lean muscle without lifting heavy weights. They're easy to use at home, travel friendly, and inexpensive -- under $10! Hungry Girl test kitchen manager Erin recommends this versatile (and colorful!) set. With five levels of resistance, you can customize the intensity to your needs.

Mpow Flame Bluetooth Headphones

The days of tangled cords are long gone! Wireless headphones don't need to cost a fortune. Hungry Girl food stylist and photographer Katie works out on a near daily basis, and she swears by this hard-working headset. "I’ve used these 5 - 6 times a week for over a year with no issues. A lot of people at my gym use these!" They’re comfy and sweat-proof with a long-lasting battery life. They even come with a carrying case!

Audible

That's right, the audiobook app! How often do you wish that you had more time to read? Or maybe you need a distraction to make treadmill time go by faster. Longtime Hungry Girl staffer Lynn (her contributions are too varied to sum up in a single job title!) is a major Audible enthusiast. "When I’m walking or running, I love listening to a book! This app makes it easy to access whatever I’m in the mood for." Bonus? There’s a free trial option.

BuildLife Motivational Water Bottle

If you find yourself struggling to drink enough water, these large & in charge water bottles are here to encourage you! Hungry Girl VP Jamie loves the bright colors, built-in straws, and cute motivational markings like “Keep going” and “Almost there.” The wide-mouth design makes them easy to clean. (They’re even easier to clean when paired with Bottle Bright, another Amazon favorite of ours!) Choose from 64-oz. and 128-oz. bottles.

ODODOS Side Stitch Yoga Pants with Pocket

Comfortable, flattering, and affordable leggings are a must, and we’ll be the first to admit they’re not just for exercise! These have not one but TWO large pockets -- no teeny "what the heck can I even put in there" waistband pockets here. Lynn calls them her hands-down favorite workout pants -- she's got five pairs. Hungry Girl writer Dana seconds the recommendation, giving a special shout-out to the brand’s shorts: "They're not too short, they don't ride up, and they have the same full-size pockets!"
