Easy Ways to Use 3-Ingredient Dough: Pizza, Bagels & More

Apr 24 2020
When the internet started buzzing about 2-ingredient dough -- self-rising flour mixed with Greek yogurt -- we were intrigued. Then we added our own high-fiber spin. Instead of refined self-rising flour, we turned to two pantry staples: whole-wheat flour and baking powder. Here are some simple and delicious things to make with our 3-ingredient dough!

Breadsticks

Even a complete baking novice can make these with ease! Just season the dough, roll it out, and bake it up. We’ll be dipping ours in marinara sauce, how about you?

Pizza

Of course we're gonna use this dough to make a pizza crust -- that's a no-brainer! We like to whip up personal pies for built-in portion control. Add your toppings of choice, and dig in…

Bagels & Bagel Bites

Here’s how to get a bagel fix that won’t break the calorie bank. Just season the dough -- our go-to is everything bagel seasoning, which you can order on Amazon -- and then form it into rings or balls. For fruity fun, use flavored Greek yogurt and freeze-dried fruit!

Make Simple Flatbreads

Dress 'em up however you like. Top one with hummus and veggies, your favorite sandwich ingredients… even fruit, yogurt, and cinnamon for a sweet spin!

Make Calzones or Empanadas

Just divvy up that dough into two 6-inch circles, and top half of each one with ingredients like mozzarella & marinara, or refried beans & shredded cheddar. Fold the dough over the filling, and press with fork tongs to seal before baking. Mmmm!

Make Garlic Knots

Hello, comfort food! Roll out a strip of dough with your hands, tie it into a knot, and then bake. Toss or brush the baked knots with a bit of olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
