I never have time to make breakfast on weekday mornings, but I need something more satisfying than a bar or container of yogurt. Do you have some recipes I can make the night before? Future me would greatly appreciate it!

Breakfast is so important, but I sometimes want to use those extra morning minutes for other important things (like sleeping!). That’s why I like to prep filling morning meals in advance. Here are a dozen and a half easy recipes for your make-ahead pleasure…

Overnight Oats

This one’s got “overnight” right in the name! Simply mix the ingredients in a bowl or a jar, and let the fridge do the work. I love 'em chilled, but you can heat them up if you like. Check out three favorites below, and click here for more.

Oat Bakes

These hearty baked oatmeal bars are game-changing. They’re fantastic chilled, warm, or hot, and the portion size is HUGE. I dare you to not be satisfied after eating one!

Egg Bakes

Whip up a multi-serving egg casserole in your slow-cooker, Instant Pot, or oven! Then just pop it in the microwave for a minute or so in the morning. I love making minis in a muffin pan: cute, quick, and portion controlled! Click for even more recipes.

Breakfast Sandwiches

Make a big batch of McMuffin-inspired sandwiches ahead of time, and enjoy them throughout the week. For variety, change up the cheese, mix in veggies, or top with a meatless sausage patty like the kind by MorningStar Farms.

Pancake Poppers

Pancakes are more of a “morning of” kind of breakfast, but pancake poppers are the perfect make-ahead version: part muffin, part pancake, all delicious. You get four poppers per serving -- eat ‘em all at once or munch throughout the morning…
